The Big Question

Have you ever been unable to answer a non-believer’s question or truth claim about your Christian faith—such as, “If God is good, then how come there is so much evil in the world?” or “I don’t believe the Bible because it’s been changed so many times”?

If you’ve been called by God to defend your Christian faith and make disciples for Christ, but you don’t know what to say or how to say it when faced with these questions or truth claims, then this channel will teach you exactly that.

If you don’t know where to start, or you’ve tried to start but didn’t have a process or track to follow, or you think you can’t memorize the words needed to defend your faith, then this channel can help you with all of this.

What You Will Learn

This is exactly what we’ll be doing on this channel as we work through my four-step apologetics learning process.

In step one, you will learn the major points of evidence that prove Christianity is true—evidence that builds a positive case for objective truth, that there is one personal God, that miracles are possible, that the New Testament is historically reliable, that Jesus is God, and that the Bible is the true Word of God.

Then, in step two, you will learn the major objections to Christianity from non-believers and how to respond to these objections so you’ll never be caught off guard again.

Then, in step three, you will learn how to engage and share the truth with gentleness and respect so they may be inspired to seek more information, which, with the help of the Holy Spirit, could lead them to Christ.

And finally, in step four, we’ll lock it all in. If we do the work that God has called us to do in 1 Peter 3:15, we will internalize the words by memorization through repetition together. If you’re doubting yourself, don’t. Plus, I’ll put myself on the line with you. As we memorize together, I will create raw videos (without scripting in front of me) for personal accountability. By doing this, I’m on the hook with you so you’ll be inspired to know that if I can do it, you can do it too (most likely better than me). And by the way, don’t forget our Helper: Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (NKJV).

Credibility

But why should you join me? You could just read some books, right? What’s my credibility?

First, my mission may be the same as yours: to defend the faith and make disciples for Christ. Or my motivation may be similar to yours. You see, I was lost in worldly sin for decades, but by grace I’ve been saved through faith—not of my own doing, but as a gift of God. Now I am blessed beyond measure through Jesus Christ, and this is my motivation.

I started my journey in 2024 by completing the ‘Read the Bible in a Year’ program, memorizing scriptures, attending Bible study and a discipleship program through my church, and establishing a daily prayer time.

But I knew I needed more training to accomplish my mission of helping others, and that’s when God led me to the study of apologetics—giving a reason or defense for our Christian faith—which sounded like exactly what I needed. I thought I could just read a few books and that would be enough to defend the faith and make disciples (or so I thought). So, I jumped in and started studying. The Big Problem

Now it’s two years later, and here is the big problem—the same problem that you may have faced in the past. How much of the information from these books and courses do you think I’ve internalized to share with others? Almost zero! Maybe you have a photographic memory and can share in-depth information like this on the fly without any study, but that’s not most people, and it’s certainly not me.

Our Journey Together

So, if you want to follow God’s calling based on 1 Peter 3:15 to defend the faith and Matthew 28:19 to make disciples, then I welcome you to join me. If you truly want to learn the evidence that builds a positive case for Christianity, and if you want to learn what to say and how to say it when you hear questions or truth claims from nonbelievers, then I welcome you to join me on this journey. Don’t expect weekly videos, as I’ll only post after I’ve internalized each piece of evidence myself. First, I have to follow my creation process: read, write, study, record. I’ll follow in the footsteps of what great minds have already written, create a script in my East Texas slang, study it until it’s internalized, and then record my accountability video. This will be a multi-year project. Actually, for me, it’s a ‘rest of my life on earth’ project.

So, we’ve got our work cut out for us, and it’s a blessing. My hope is that God will bless me with enough time in life to do this and share it with others as soon as I’ve internalized each piece. My hope for you is that you will be inspired to help others and make disciples in your own way, with the help of the Holy Spirit—perhaps even creating your own accountability journal.
